Victorian Heart Institute Cardiac CTCA Course

The Victorian Heart Institute in collaboration with the Victorian Heart Hospital provides CT Courses throughout the year. The courses take place in the luminary site cardiac CT facility at the Victorian Heart Hospital, Melbourne.

Our 2025 course will be taught by highly experienced Australian Level B accredited faculty led by - Associate Professor Sujith Seneviratne and Dr Angel Wu.

The course includes exposure to and experience in cardiac CT imaging, coronary artery disease with catheter correlation, congenital heart disease and acquired non-coronary artery disease.

All live cases will be on a Canon Medical 320-slice Aquilion ONE PRISM Edition CT scanner.

Initial Certification – 5 day CTCA Course at the Victorian Heart Hospital - Mon 2nd - Fri 6th June, 2025 (8:30am-6:30pm)

The five day training course is designed for Cardiologists, Radiologists, Nuclear Medicine Physicians, Registrars and Fellows who desire an in depth knowledge of cardiac CTA. This course’s popularity is based on our systematic review methodology, which is designed to increase your reading confidence and decrease your read time. Re-certification (Refresher) – 3 Day CTCA Refresher Course at the Victorian Heart Hospital - Wed 4th - Fri 6th June, 2025 (8:30am-6:30pm)

The three day training course is designed for Cardiologists, Radiologists and Fellows knowledge and cases to assist with recertification. 

Participants will have access to a large library of correlated cases and will read a minimum of 75 cases with high level supervision by experts in the field.

Course registration fee includes: daily parking, morning/afternoon tea and lunch plus an independent workstation.
