Delivery Information
Click & Collect
We offer click & collect for a range of products. Simply shop online and we will notify you when (and where) your item is ready for collection.
When collecting your order please bring:
- the credit card used to make the purchase
- valid photo ID
- your order number/copy of your order.
You cannot nominate someone else to pick up your order.
Click & collect orders will be held for 30 days from the order date. If you order is not collected within 30 days your order will be cancelled and we will contact you to arrange a refund (see refunds below).
Standard Delivery
Our delivery costs are based on item sizes. We will define the size of the item based on its overall dimensions and its weight:

Returns and Refunds
Refunds/Exchanges – the legal stuff
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
As a consumer, you are entitled to the benefit of statutory consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law in respect of items purchased from Monash University.
‘Major failure’ means products where these is a significant departure between the goods supplied and their description, products which are unsafe, products which are substantially unfit for their purpose, or products which are defective and would not have been acquired by a reasonable consumer aware of the defect.

Returns
To arrange a return, please contact us . All return, refund or exchange requests must include your online tax invoice/receipt and identification as proof of purchase. We are not responsible for non-delivered parcels, so it’s a good idea to use registered post when returning items.
All credit card and PayPal purchases will be refunded using the original payment method. If the original method is not available, we will send a cheque to the original purchaser.
Shipping costs (purchase or return) will not be refunded.
Change of mind
If you have changed your mind about a purchase we cannot offer a refund, but we can offer you store credit. Please contact us if:
- you supply us with proof of purchase and valid photo id
- the item is still in its original condition (i.e. the item’s tags and labels are still attached, the item is in its original packaging (if any), and the item is unworn, unused and as sold)
- the request is received within 14 days of purchase
- the item is not on the special exception list (see below)
Special Exceptions
We do not offer an exchange or credit on the following items unless the item is faulty, the item supplied differs to the one purchases, or in breach of manufacturer's warranties or Australian Consumer Law consumer guarantees:
- CDs, DVDs
- Events, seminars and courses
- Course notes
- Text books (please note: Monash University online store is not responsible for the provision or accuracy of booklists.)
- Ebooks, downloadable products, goods that are packaged with a digital product, or an access code
- Software, hardware, other IT products
- Stationery
