Supervisor Masterclass - Supervision of neuropsychology trainees: Incorporating reflective practice
While many supervisor competencies will be common across specialities of psychology there is a recognition that areas of speciality such as neuropsychology require specific training for supervisors to support the greater focus on assessment, report writing, differential diagnosis, assessment feedback and brief interventions. This workshop aims to provide specialist knowledge and skills to supervisors of neuropsychology trainees and will focus on a range of supervisor competencies with relevance to the neuropsychology setting. The workshop will have an emphasis on reflective practice and how this can benefit your supervisory approach. There will be regular opportunities for group discussion and practical tasks. This masterclass is approved by the Psychology Board of Australia for maintaining board-approved supervisor status.
