ElecLab Toolkit - Electrical and Computer Systems Engineering
The ElecLab Toolkit is a set of tools that will help you take on industry-inspired projects and activities. The Department of Electrical and Computer Systems Engineering has designed these projects to improve your practical and design skills, which are essential for your engineering degree.
If you enrol in ECE2071 and/or ECE2131 in semester 1 2025 you will need to acquire a Toolkit in order to participate in these activities throughout your degree. The same Toolkit will be used in all units, so this will be a one-time investment in your course as you’ll be able to reuse it in your subsequent units.
The toolkit consists of measurement tools, sensors/modules, components, prototyping supplies and development boards appropriate to your specific specialisation.
More details about this program, and details about who is eligible for loaner kits, are available from this website:

Collection Instructions
Students will need to bring their M-Pass, and a copy of the receipt to collect their Eleclab Toolkit. A list of collection times in O-week and the first weeks of semester will be provided on the Moodle pages of ECE2071/ECE2131. After this, the Eleclab Toolkit may be picked up from the department by arrangement. Email ecse-labtoolkit@monash.edu to organise a time.
