Registration to attend the 11th Asia-Pacific Worm Meeting

The Asia-Pacific Worm Meeting is the premier scientific conference for the Asia Pacific Caenorhabditis elegans research community. It takes place every two years in an Asia-Pacific city and attracts ~200 delegates from all over the world. After being held previously in Japan, South Korea, China and India the 11th APWM will be held for the first time in Australia in 2026!

The Asia Pacific C. elegans community is one of the fastest-growing worm research communities and is highly student-centric. A full diversity of worm research from genetics, cell biology, development, immunology, physiology, ecology and neuroscience will be presented.

We have invited a stellar gender-balanced group of international speakers from Singapore, Japan, India, Hong Kong, South Korea, Taiwan, USA, France, Spain, Germany, China and Australia to present at this meeting. Talks from participating students/postdocs/early career faculties will also be selected for oral presentations. All C. elegans researchers not selected for a talk will get an option to present posters. The meeting aims to be a fertile ground for nucleating collaborations within the Asia Pacific region and beyond. We invite you to submit your abstracts and to learn and participate at this dynamic meeting.

We welcome you to the land of the Larrakia, or saltwater people, who are the traditional owners of the Darwin region. Aboriginal Australians have managed their traditional lands and seas for over 65,000 years. Knowledge of the traditional management of land presents delegates with the opportunity to learn about this ancient culture.
