Water Sampling Workshop For Field Workers

Water monitoring provides information on the health of waterways, and is a vital step toward understanding ecosystems and ensuring appropriate management decisions at the catchment or local scale. It can be used for research and to fill gaps in knowledge, or simply to append historical water quality records. As an industry standard, consistent water monitoring should be a part of a wider regulatory practice, and as the world struggles with climate challenges, water quality and hydrology becomes increasingly significant in the health of our planet.

This workshop provides an understanding of the basic methods, techniques, and equipment used to collect water samples in the field. Designed to incorporate comprehensive risk analysis and fieldwork safety, it also features hands-on practical demonstrations of common water sampling techniques—including ISO 9001-certified practices utilised within One Water.

The workshop will encompass both indoor theory and outdoor practical activities (weather dependent).

A light lunch will be provided, and any specific dietary requirements can be entered into the form.

The cost is just $750.
