Catch up with colleagues and join experienced VTS trainer Carly Grace as she leads an inspiring end-of-year program at MUMA and our neighbouring gallery the Duldig Studio.

VTS is a renowned inquiry-based approach to experiencing art. It empowers students to discuss artworks with their peers and develop skills in observation, communication and speculation.  During this full-day program we will take an in-depth look at the VTS methodology and its theoretical underpinnings. We’ll also explore how VTS connects with curriculumand how it can be used in a variety of contexts.

Participants will also take part in practical VTS sessions at MUMA and the Duldig Studio and have the opportunity to curate a selection of modern and contemporary artworks for their students guided by the stages of Aesthetic Development.

This workshop is designed to enhance the capacity of teachers who have undertaken VTS training and would like to refine and extend their skills / become a certified VTS facilitator. It is also suitable for teachers who are new to VTS and would like to explore this process in a supportive environment.
