The Department of Paramedicine is pleased to announce the following upcoming short course. This will be presented by Quinch Wong, and only to health professionals residing in Hong Kong (HKSAR).

Quinch Wong is a Registered Paramedic and Registered Nurse in Australia, is currently an Advanced Life Support Paramedic (clinical instructor) for Ambulance Victoria, and Faculty teaching member of the Department of Paramedicine.

The workshop will include a pre-learning quiz and activities, lecture content, small group practise ECG sessions, post-learning quiz. Participants will receive a Monash University Certificate of Completion after each module

ECG workshop
The workshop will be run for 2 X 8 hours in length, and will be delivered face-to-face.

Day 1 (Fundamentals of ECG interpretation and application)
Basic concepts and components of ECGs
Sinus and Junctional Rhythms
Ectopic Arrhythmias
Bradyarrhythmias

Day 2 (Advanced ECG interpretation and application)
Supraventricular Arrhythmias
Ventricular Arrhythmias
Introduction to 12-Lead ECG and Bundle Branch Blocks
Acute Coronary Syndrome and Infarction Patterns
