Monash Institute of Railway Technology will conduct a five-day Workshop at Monash University, entitled “Track Infrastructure - Fundamentals for Railway Professionals”
Day 1: – Overview of the track infrastructure and operational principles
Day 2: – Fundamentals of track loading, stability and rail materials
Day 3: – Understanding track infrastructure behaviour and material selection
Day 4: – Processes of infrastructure management, monitoring and maintenance
Day 5: – Importance of special track components, track alignment and clearances
