The Art and Practice of Surgical Leadership

Surgeons and anaesthetists typically take on the role of leaders within the operating room on a daily basis. Even though many may also take on leadership roles in their field of practice or speciality, they may not naturally see themselves as leaders in an organisational, team or business sense and feel unprepared when they are placed in these roles.

We have designed a bespoke Program specifically designed to help fill this gap, blending individual participant experience with access to the best of contemporary thinking around relational leadership and effective leadership behaviours and practice.

Through a series of practical workshops and encounters including art-led learning and immersion in the creative and inspiring contexts of Prato, our Program will advance and develop participant knowledge, skills, attributes and mindsets across three key domains of leadership: identity, communications and practice.
