Road to EduVate 2: Inclusive Learning in the Age of AI

The Road to EduVate #2 brings together educators, instructional leaders, and professional staff to build inclusive, future-ready learning environments grounded in Universal Design for Learning (UDL). This in-person event features two hands-on workshops translating theory into classroom-ready practice:

1. Designing the Inclusive Learning Journey Together
Focus: Operationalising Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) through Academic–Professional Collaboration
This interactive workshop bridges policy and practice by fostering collaboration between academic and professional staff to unpack real-world friction points—from curriculum preparation and classroom dynamics to assessment review. Participants will leave with practical, context-aware strategies to design accessible and inclusive learning journeys for all students.

2. Designing for Agency: Applying UDL in the Age of AI
Focus: Fostering Student Agency with AI Integration
Rethink pedagogy in an AI-mediated landscape. Educators will evaluate where AI genuinely enriches learning, then apply UDL's core principles—Engagement, Representation, and Action & Expression—to prototype flexible, multi-modal learning experiences that position students as active, strategic agents.
