Psychopharmacology & Physical Treatments in Mental Health Care

Advance your practice and knowledge of psychopharmacology and physical treatments for the management of psychiatric disorders. Learn from the experts in a series of live-delivery lectures, and engage in case-based ‘clinical reasoning in action’ interactive discussions with the expert presenters.

This 7 week professional development education program is developed and delivered by Prof Nicholas Keks, Assoc Prof Judy Hope and Dr Richard Bradlow. The course will provide you with up-to-date information on specific medications, prescribing practicalities and safe and effective treatment options and recommendations for the major psychiatric disorders in adults.

This course is specifically designed for prescribing clinicians working in mental health care and treatment:
psychiatrists in public and private practice settings, psychiatry registrars, GPs, OB-GYNs and nurse practitioners.

Participants will be enrolled into a learning management system, where optional self-directed learning materials will be provided – readings, resources, and online discussion forums. Participants will have access to recordings of the lectures for the duration of the course.
