The MAPrc Neuropsychology Clinic offers neuropsychological assessments for adults with cognitive concerns that may be related to mental illnesses, psychiatric symptoms or dementias.
Neuropsychological assessments involve a history taking session as well as the measurement and evaluation of cognitive, emotional and behavioural function through interview, observation and neuropsychological testing.
The interview and assessment will usually take 3-4 hours and may be conducted over two sessions.
A report will be provided to the referring doctor and feedback will be given to the patient.
Intervention will primarily involve feedback and psychoeducation.
