Keto Kickstart Workshop

The Keto Kickstart Workshop is a two-day introduction for healthcare professionals to ketogenic diet therapy for adults with epilepsy and other neurological conditions. The course will cover:
Day 1
- Indications for ketogenic diet therapy
- Types of ketogenic diets
- Medication and non-pharmacological treatments for epilepsy
- Ketogenic therapy in the intensive care unit
- Ketogenic therapy beyond epilepsy

Day 2
- Practical formulation of oral and enteral feeding plans.
- Case study discussion
- Outcome measures for ketogenic therapy

No prior experience in ketogenic diet therapy is required, however for those attending day 2, there is assumed knowledge of formulation of standard oral and enteral nutrition plans.
