Improving the Quality of Teaching and Learning (Australian orders including postage)

This book was written after the first year of PEEL, and contains chapters by teachers and academics. Each of the ten teachers in the project wrote a chapter about their year's experiences, drawing on material from their journals, classroom anecdotes and artifacts, and discussions in PEEL meetings. These chapters provide rich windows into the PEEL teachers' classrooms, and document both the failures and successes of that first year. Other chapters include one written by a Year 10 student critically documenting her experiences in one of the targeted PEEL classes, and those written by academics on the importance of the PEEL meetings, and the nature of change in both students and teachers. The book is now in its third edition. (This book also contains a users' guide which allows the reader to access the text through a variety of commonly asked questions and concerns.)
