Improving Diagnosis Symposium 2026
Diagnosis is one of the most challenging and complex tasks faced by clinicians – and excellence in the diagnostic process involves both the art and science of medicine.
Hosted by Monash Medical School, the Improving Diagnosis Symposium is an annual event that brings together leaders in diagnostic excellence to explore how we can improve diagnosis in medicine and reduce diagnostic error.
The Symposium welcomes everyone working to improve diagnosis, including medical educators and practitioners, consumers, researchers, quality managers and medical administrators.

Monday 28 September: Abstract submissions close - Submit an abstract
Monday 19 October: $350 Early bird registration closes
Monday 30 November: $400 Standard registration closes
