Explore Phillip Island | MRS & SRL

Monash Residential Services (MRS) is supporting our residential community access and experience some of Victoria’s iconic natural and heritage destinations. Our Explore Victoria Excursions offer subsidised entry fees and transport fares for residents to explore Phillip Island.

These excursions are an opportunity to facilitate social connection between new community members and existing residents, and between students from international and domestic backgrounds.

Itinerary

9.30am: Arrive at meet-up point (Bus Stop Outside Turner Hall)

10.00am : Depart  from Monash

11.30am : Lunch at San Remo (BYO or at own expense)

12.00pm : Pelican feeding at San Remo -30 minute presentation

1.20pm : Cape Woolamai Beach walk

2.00pm : Activities at Churchill Island

4.15pm : Nobbies Boardwalk and coastal drive to Summerland Bay

5.00pm : Arrive at Penguin Parade

6.15pm : Penguins arrive on beach (Estimated)

7.15pm : Dinner at Penguin Parade (provided)

8.15pm : Depart Penguin Parade

10.00pm : Arrive at Monash

Includes: Transportation, Tickets to venues, Dinner (please note that dinner time may change to adjust for the penguin arrival)

Excludes: Lunch (bring/buy at own expense)

Additional Information:

Please do NOT buy a ticket if you have previously attended this Phillip Island trip to give other residents the opportunity to attend.
