Faculty of education international student day trip

This wonderful day out is for Faculty Education International Students only. An amazing opportunity to travel to one of Victoria's renowned tourist attractions Puffing Billy and Tulip Festival, close to Melbourne in the Dandenong Ranges.  "Puffing Billy" steam engine winds its way through native bushland to Lakeside. Tessellar Tulip Farm is a farm with hectares of colourful flowers and lots of daily activities. This year’s Tulip Festival is themed Tulips in Wonderland! Don’t miss out on seeing the magic and beauty of the tulip fields!

The Faculty subsidises the cost of the event, so this keeps the cost low for our students. You are welcome to bring your own food and drinks. Otherwise, you can buy your lunch from a range of different food vendors on site and enjoy the picturesque views and the picnic time in the company of your friends. It is important to wear suitable outdoor clothing and comfortable walking shoes – runners (no heels). Bring waterproof jacket and umbrella if wet. Take your travel sickness medication prior to boarding the bus – if needed.

It is a great chance to meet new friends and enjoy a day away from assignments and study. To be refreshed by shared new sights, sounds, and opportunities.
