Empathy Symposium 2026: Reimagining Healthcare

Monash Nursing and Midwifery are hosting the 2026 Empathy Symposium, part of the Empathy Imperative.

The Empathy Symposium will be three days of collaborative dialogue which will include a keynote, plenary and invited speakers, workshops and creative expressions, and oral and poster presentations exploring empathy across health professions education, research and practice.

Standard Ticket - Symposium $600 (Includes the cost to attend the Welcome Reception)  
Community & Student Ticket – Symposium $300 (Includes the cost to attend the Welcome Reception) Available for students, healthcare consumers, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community members.
We encourage participation from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, students, and healthcare consumers and offer this reduced registration rate to support inclusive access.
