EMBL Australia PhD Course 2025 | Accommodation & Registration Fee

Now in its tenth year, the EMBL Australia PhD Course brings together more than 60 high-achieving PhD students from diverse research fields across Australia, giving them a head start in their scientific careers.

This unique two-week residential course features scientific masterclasses led by Australia’s foremost researchers, hands-on learning opportunities, and professional skill development – ensuring the next generation of researchers is set up for success.

Accommodation is being provided from Sunday November 30 to Friday 12 December at YHA Adelaide Central. Rooms are being allocated based on gender. 

Lunches and some small snacks are provided as part of this registration fee, however dinner and breakfasts are not provided. The accommodation has a large kitchen area for you to use to prepare your own meals.  More information about the accommodation can be found on their website.
