Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
About the course:
As individuals and Organisations extend their understanding of what makes society and businesses cohesive and productive, the value of diversity and having an inclusive culture is increasing.
As we move into a ‘new world of work’, this course will take you through what diversity, equity and inclusion is and why it is important. Through deep diving into types of discrimination and diversity topics, it will also challenge your existing perceptions. It will help open you up to your own conscious and unconscious biases and help broaden your mindset so you can gain a deeper understanding of the challenges some groups face. At the end of this course you will have learned how to identify discrimination and the value a diverse group of people bring, alongside what you can do to support inclusivity.
This course not only builds solid knowledge of concepts in the learner, it is also structured to progressively build real skills through application-based activities promoting deliberate practice within the learner's unique context supported by reflection and course-correction as required. There is no doubt that every learner and sponsoring organisations (if applicable) will gain true ROI and see a measurable increase in learner's understanding and application of Diversity, Equity and Inclusivity principles.
