Cognitive Flexibility and Growth Mindset
About the course:
As our environment continues to shift around us, it is imperative that we adopt a Growth Mindset alongside building our cognitive flexibility, so we have the skills and capabilities to adapt to changes and achieve our goals. This course will explore what a growth mindset is and how cognitive flexibility enables it. Through understanding why a growth mindset is important, participants can learn how to apply strategies and techniques to further enhance their own skill development and progression. Understanding the importance of others in enhancing our growth mindset (and vice versa), alongside the role others play in our continuous learning is imperative in the workplace. This course will teach participants how they can not only support others in their growth, but be open minded to broaden their own horizons and learn from others. Participants will hear from the latest research and science on how our brain works, and have an opportunity to participate in a number of practice activities to bring to life what the experts are saying on cognitive flexibility and growth mindset. Through harnessing change and adaptability, creativity and innovation, and self-belief, this course will set participants up for a future of lifelong learning and pave the way for them to achieve their aspirations.
