Asylum seeker lives in limbo in Indonesia: Documentary screening event

In partnership with the Refugee Council of Australia (RCOA) and the Immigration Museum, the Monash Migration and Inclusion Centre will host a documentary film event at the Immigration Museum in Melbourne to screen two short films on asylum seekers in limbo in Indonesia. The film screenings of 'Respite' and 'Performing out of limbo' will be followed by a Q&A with the film Directors live from Indonesia facilitated by Asher Hirsch from RCOA and our postgraduate network, with refugee community members. RCOA will also launch a new briefing note on the situation for asylum seekers in limbo in Indonesia.

Tickets are $5.50 (includes GST) and must be purchased in advance here

A donation box will be available on the day to support RCOA’s work with refugees in Indonesia.
