3rd Mechanotransduction, Muscle Spindles and Proprioception Conference

June 29 - July 1 2026, Prato, Italy

Building on the first two conferences organised by Prof Stephan Kröger of Ludwig Maximilians University, Munich,  I am delighted to be hosting our next conference in the picturesque city of Prato in Tuscany – 30 minutes by train from Florence. 

This three-day conference will cover all aspects of mechanotransduction and somatosensation provided by mechanoreceptors in the skin and joints as well as muscles. The meeting will be held at the Monash Prato Centre, located in a grand 18th-century building, Palazzo Vaj.

The registration fee includes morning and afternoon teas, buffet lunches, a Welcome Reception on the Monday evening and a Conference Dinner in a local restaurant on the Tuesday evening.
